VIT Vellore BTech Admission 2024 is ongoing. B.Tech Admission at VIT Vellore is based on a valid score in VITEEE. VIT Vellore has started accepting applications for VITEEE 2024 from November 1, 2023. VIT Vellore BTech Eligibility Criteria

• In order to be eligible for the B.Tech program at VIT Vellore, candidates are required to have passed their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main Subjects.
• Also, the candidates should have scored 60% marks in their 10+2 level board examination from any recognized board of education. 

VIT Vellore BTech Admission 2024

Admission to the B.Tech program at VIT Vellore is strictly done on the basis of the entrance exam scores of either the VITEEE exam or JEE Main entrance exam. The final selection and seat allotment are done right after the shortlisting of the eligible students in the counseling session.  

Score of VITEEE is the only criteria to secure admission to VIT University. After confirmation & allotment of seat you have to make an advance payment form of DD in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore which includes counselling fee. Counselling will be held at Chennai & Vellore campus both for all B. Tech. courses.

Note: Although counselling fee is non refundable but it can be adjusted in the tuition fee once a student joins the university.

After final confirmation, grades & rank no. retotaling & regarding will be performed.

Note: University will not send call letter to any student whether selected or not, however the rank will be informed through SMS on the number provided at the time of application.

Documents required at the time of counseling:

• Rank card, Admit card & Counselling letter of VITEEE
• Class Xth certificate in support of Date of Birth
• Marks sheet of qualifying examination
• Community & Domicile certificate, if applicable
• Demand Draft in favor of “VIT University” payable at Vellore.

Note: Final selection will be confirmed after payment of balance fee. In this regard, students have to send it to Chennai or Vellore as per their seat allocation.

• Transfer/ Migration Certificate
• Certificate regarding code of conduct
• Provisional Admission letter
• Recent passport size photographs
• An affidavit signed by Student & parents on INR 20 stamp papers

• Two sets of photocopies of original documents

Note: Students hailing from Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, have to submit a memorandum of marks at the time of admission.

How to Apply for BTech Course 2024?

VIT Vellore is accepting applications for VITEEE 2024. Interested candidates can apply for VIT Vellore B.Tech Admission through https://viteee.vit.ac.in/?utm_source=VJQY2341&utm_campaign=viteee2024. 

Here are the steps to apply for VITEEE 2024. 

• Step 1: Visit the official website of VIT Vellore @https://vit.ac.in/.
• Step 2: Click on the “VITEEE 2024 Apply Now” tab appearing on the top of the home page. The applicant will be redirected to a new window. 
• Step 3: Click on the “New User” tab if not registered already. Fill in the information like Name, DOB, Gender, Email Address, Mobile Number etc. Once the registration is successful, a password will be sent from VIT to the registered mobile number and Email ID.
• Step 4: Login in with your registered email ID and password received from VIT.
• Step 5: Fill in the application form carefully with all relevant details.
• Step 6: An application number will be generated after submission.
• Step 7: An application fee of INR 1,350 has to be paid through online mode and then upload the necessary documents.

How to check the status of Application 

VIT University offers the provision to track the status of application for the benefit of students. Once the application will be received at the university, a SMS will be sent to the student regarding confirmation of application. Students can also check the status by signing in to the website by using their Application number; however this facility will be available only after three weeks of dispatch of application.

Slot Booking:

Students who will apply through offline or online mode, their password for slot booking will be sent via mail. So students are advised to provide valid e-mail address in the application form. VIT University offers provision of slot booking in VITEEE through scheduling. Students can choose their test slot according their interest. Students have to choose the test city first (Same as filled in the application form) & then date & session of the test. This facility will be provided on first cum first serve basis to eligible students who have completed their form in all respects.

Note: Keep your slot booking password completely confidential. Do not share it with any one.

Slot booking Procedure:

• Log in to website of VIT University. (you should keep photocopy of application form & password)
• Select the subject in which you want to take the test.
• In case of non-availability of test centre, choose another one.
• A confirmation mail will be sent to your e-mail ID, once the slot booking will be done.
• After completion of slot booking, admit card will be generated. Take print out of the same & keep it safe.

Relaxation of 10% i.e. 50% marks in aggregate are required for SC/ST & natives of Jammu & Kashmir.

Note: Students hailing from North-Eastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Mizoram, Sikkim & Tripura have to maintain an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Scholarship Details:

• Toppers of each state & central board will get 100% relaxation in tuition fee for all four years of the course.
• Students who maintain a rank between 1 to 50 in VITEEE  will get a 75% concession in tuition fee.
• Students who maintain a rank between 51 to 100 in VITEEE  will get a 50% concession in tuition fee.
• Students who maintain a rank between 101 to 1000 in VITEEE  will get a 25% concession in tuition fee.
