Is Nirma University or UPES, Dehradun, better for a B.Tech?

UPES Dehradun does not have a good enough reputation as it does not appear anywhere in the national rankings. On the other hand, Nirma University ranks among the top institutes. It is often in the top 50 best colleges in the country. It is one of the best in Gujarat and is also on equal footing with most of the NITs.
If you want to pursue CSE at Nirma University, the placements offers will be lucrative. The packages can go as high as INR 18 LPA. There are also tons of activities organized by the university which take place every now and then. You can participate in those for honing your skills.
A friend of mine used to be a student of Nirma University and he came across a few students of UPES Dehradun while he was doing an internship. From what he gathered, he thinks the institute is not up to the mark and leaves a lot to be desired. UPES Dehradun focuses more on technological knowledge.
You can opt for Nirma University for B.Tech without any second thought. The university offers great industrial exposure for the course.

The course is detailed and covers domains like finance, management, financial markets, economics and maths. Faculty is supporting and well learned. The faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:7. The exams were held timely according to the year schedule and one really has to work to pass a particular exam.

My course is BTECh CSE AI ML spl.
The stream is up and coming in the near future and hence it became my obvious choice... There is a lack of good faculty of AI here at my university and it seems students have to gain knowledge on their own... The faculty is just there as time pass and fails us even when they do not give us quality knowledge.

Qualification of the faculty is master's graduate and faculty are good at explaining topics easily. The faculty and student ratio is about 60%. The exams are equal in this course and they are held regular bases.

The faculty in this course are highly qualified and they are master's graduates. The type of study provided by the faculty is nice. I choose this course because I am from the medical field. The exams are frequent in this course.

I had a good interest in business and finance so I decided to go for this course. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. The faculty is always ready to help you and the class size does not exceed 65 in most cases. The teaching faculty is well educated almost every one of them has Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields and are very polite and helpful. The university follows the basic 2-semester rule system in which we have one mid-semester exam and then an end-semester exam. Mid-sem has a weightage of 20% and end-sem has a weightage of 70% rest weightage is for internal assessment.

I chose Aiml as it is a booming field with lots of opportunities. Faculties are supportive but mostly like every other university and college you have to study on your own. Exams are taken on a regular basis, which is hard sometimes while sometimes only checking is hard.

Faculties are good and they have polite nature toward students.
Most faculties are master's graduates.
There are 3 exams in Bpharma - sessional 1, sessional 2, and end term. Exams are not much tough.
