BU is one of the top private university, and it offers a Computer science program in 2 colleges: The art and science department and Metropolitan College. I applied to 7 colleges and of those, I was accepted to 5. Waitlisted at one and guaranteed transfer to another. So I went to Ithaca College for a year and then did guarantee transfer to BU. I didn't plan on transferring to BU but I hated Ithaca so much that I couldn't stand to be there for three more years. Transferring to BU was the best decision I made.
Fees
Just tuition for BU is around 25k per semester. That's excluding housing, meal plan, etc. I would guess that suite-style housing with a standard meal plan is around 9k per semester. I didn't get any scholarship money. Scholarships at BU are merit-based. Those who need the money do get full rides.
