Kalindi College offers its students UG courses under the departments of Arts, Commerce, and Science. The most popular UG course offered by the college is Bachelor of Arts. Admission to these courses are based on the CUET examinations held by the Delhi University.

Kalindi College UG Selection Process

Selection to UG courses is based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling. 

Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:

• Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
• Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
• Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

The Kalindi College offers only one PG course Master of Arts in three different specialisations namely, Hindi, Political Science and Sanskrit. The college grants admission to the M.A. course on the basis of merit or CUET PG scores.

Kalindi College PG Eligibility Criteria

• For M.A. Hindi and Sanskrit, the candidate must have completed bachelor’s degree in the same specialisation and must have completed 65% and 60% marks in the aggregate respectively for merit based admission. Whereas for entrance based admission in M.A. Hindi and Sanskrit, the candidate must have scored at least 45% marks in the aggregate.Kalindi College PG Eligibility Criteria
• For M.A. Political Science merit based admission the candidate must have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with at least 60% marks whereas, for entrance based admission, the candidate must have completed at least 50% marks in the entrance test. 

Kalindi College PG Selection Process

• Admission is granted on the basis of Merit and valid CUET PG scores.
• As per DU guideline students who have completed their Graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges and are seeking for PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit based admission.
• Candidates Graduating from different Universities or with a Bachelor’s Degree in different subjects must qualify the DU conducted entrance exam (CUET PG).

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

• Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
• ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

• Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
• After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

• Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
• Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
• Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
• Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
• Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
