Admission:

To gain admission to DU, you have to take the Cuet entrance exam. The exams typically contain questions from class 12th NCERT and the registration process usually starts around March- April. The UGC did a great job in conducting the cuet exam this year, although there were some technical difficulties during my term overall it was a great effort. The cut-off for the north campus colleges usually goes high but it's not that difficult.

Admission:

During my time admission is generally done on the basis of cutoffs based on class 12th marks. I am from the EWS Category and got into Sri Aurobindo College this evening with 87.5( in the top 4) in BA(H) Economics. However, the admission for general gets closed at 94. Our batch was the last batch whose admission are done based on cutoffs. The new batch is admitted into the college by CUET scores, for economics the decent score should be 600+ for general and 450+ for EWS.

Admission:

I took the cuet exam in 2022. It was quite easy. All the questions came from NCERT class 12th. Since I'm a biology student equally passionate about both botany and zoology, I opted for Life Sciences. The eligibility for this course is that you should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in classes 11 and 12. Just go to the NTA website, choose the Cuet examination form, and fill out the form. The registration process starts in March and the exam is usually conducted from May to June. It's a good initiative taken by UGC and with each passing year, we will get to see more talented youth.
