JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 was of moderate level. The overall difficulty level of the April session was similar to the January session. The exam was held in the Afternoon session (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). There was a major contribution of NCERT books in JEE Main 2019 April session. A total of 90 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) were listed in the question paper.

- The calculus section carried a total of 40% weightage in the Mathematics section
