IIEST Shibpur JEE Main Cutoff refers to the minimum JEE Main Cutoff candidates need to secure in order to gain admission in B.Tech./B.Arch programs. Being a government-funded technical institute, the selection process at IIEST Shibpur is done on the basis of JEE Main Cutoff released by JoSAA. JEE Main 2023 is going to be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 in January and Phase 2 in April. In Phase 1, JEE Main 2023 B.Tech paper is scheduled for January 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2023. JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) is scheduled for January 28, 2023. JoSAA releases JEE Main Cut Off for IIEST Shibpur after each round of JoSAA Counselling. At the institute, 50% of seats are reserved for home-state candidates from West Bengal whereas the rest 50% is for other states’ candidates who qualify for JEE Main exams. On the basis of performance, candidates from the engineering stream are allowed to change their discipline at the end of the first year. Institute also offers an opportunity to get admission in a dual degree B.Tech + M.Tech program.
