I will suggest you go for a different IIM if you have any other option up to your sleeve. Even a new IIM that has just been established for a year or two is better. Make sure its infrastructure, placements, and faculty are at par with the IIM standards. It’s too early to claim with surety of IIM Visakhapatnam’s worth. Moreover, if you were able to crack CAT this year, it’s better you try again next year with a bit more determination and target a better B School.
