IIT Delhi Placement 2023 final report is yet to be released. During IIT Delhi placements 2023, the college has received 1300 offers including 260 PPOs where 1150 students are uniquely selected. The highest package was INR 4 crore per annum.

IIT Delhi B.Tech Program Details – Curriculum, Syllabus

The four years B.Tech course at IIT Delhi involves a minimum 8 semesters. Students are permitted a maximum 12 semester for completing Degree requirements.

For fulfilling degree requirements, B.Tech students need to secure minimum credit in 6 categories.
The categories are Institute Core, Programme Linked EAS/BS, Departmental core, Departmental Elective, Open Category, and Non-graded Core.
Total number credit required for getting Degree is 148-158 with additional 15 credits in nongraded units.

The placement process was smooth and many companies visited the campus.
Our college has a dedicated placement cell that helped me get a job at a top MNC.
Most of the students in my batch got placed with decent salary packages.

Very few companies visited for placements, and the offers were not satisfactory.

My friend completed her M.Tech in Telecommunication Technology and Management from IIT Delhi and also did some extra courses in Computer Technology from Electrical Department.

These courses usually cover Software related topics with very less focus on mathematical analytics and circuit design. Students from Instrumentation backgrounds expect Analytics and Design but the reality is IIT Delhi has very limited choices in this field. Most of the optional courses offered are related to CS and are much more promising than Analytics. If you are okay with programming, coding, and software development then go for it at once.

Rest assured, you will never get to doubt the packages offered during the placements of Computer Technology. It has the highest packages among all the Electrical Department branches.
