Delhi University M.Ed admission 2024 is ongoing. The university has announced “Spot Admission Round I” for PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The last date to apply for the “Spot Admission Round 1” is July 24, 2024. The allocation of Spot Admission Round 1 PG courses will be declared on July 26. Seats can be accepted from July 26 to 28 and the last date to complete admission formalities is July 30, 2024.

The candidates applying for admission to the M.Ed program at Delhi University must have one of the following educational qualifications obtained from any of the recognized universities:
NOTE: A candidate with D.El.Ed as the educational qualification should also give details of the Undergraduate Degree.
DU M.Ed admission is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG), conducted by NTA. Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be required to register on Delhi University’s admission portal. Provisional seat allotment will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG) portal by Delhi University where candidates will be required to fill in college and department preferences. For the final selection, a merit list will be released by Delhi University based on CUET PG scores, college and department preferences, availability of seats, reservation criteria, academic qualifications, and other factors.
The application process is restricted to online mode only and it is compulsory to register on the common portal on DU PG Admission Portal. All candidates need to follow these steps in order to achieve a successful application to the curriculum.
The University of Delhi offers a full-time two-year M.Ed. programme keeping in with NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) norms. M.Ed. is considered as a professional programme for advanced study of the discipline of Education. The objective of this programme is to develop in-depth knowledge and specialization in education among the students. The medium of instruction for M.Ed. is English.

As per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the minimum attendance requirement for students is 80% for theory courses and practicum, and 90% for field attachment. A shortage of attendance can create problems for the students in their academics.
