Admission to the college is based on successfully passing the POLYCET entrance test with a good rank, followed by participation in the POLYCET counseling process where students submit original information and choose their preferred colleges. After a short period, the college assigns seats to selected students. The faculty is noted for being supportive and cooperative, focusing on helping students excel academically and ensuring they learn new skills by graduation.
For master's students, placement sessions are organized in the second year in partnership with the IIC department. These sessions attract various software firms looking to hire students. Although the department does not offer specific scholarships, students can apply for Central University scholarship programs provided by the central government, with encouragement and support from the department and faculty to pursue these opportunities.
