The institute was established in 1992 by Chhatrapati Shri Sahu Maharaj of Kolhapur. It is affiliated to the University of Pune and is accredited by A+ grade by NAAC. Eligibility
To apply for the course, one should satisfy the following eligibility:
- Candidates must have passed class XII with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any of the following subjects Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only).
- Preference will be given to candidates having non zero positive score in JEE Main over non zero score in MHT CET.
NOTE - For admission into BE Lateral Entry, candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only).
Selection Criteria
- All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) College of Engineering considers the score of MHT CET and JEE Main (Paper 1) for selection.
- Candidates with a valid score have to appear for the MHT CET Counselling which takes place through Common Admission Process (CAP).
- During the counselling, candidates have to register online, select the type of candidature, fill educational & examination details, upload scanned images of photograph & signature and lastly pay the counselling fee of INR 800/- (INR 600/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates of Maharashtra and INR 5000/- for NRI/PIO/OCI/Foreign Nationals).
- Upon successful registration, candidates need to report at the Admission Facilitation Centre (AFC) for verification of documents.
- Therefore, candidates are requested to carry their original documents and set of self attested copies while reporting.
- After verification, students have to login to their account and select the college and course according to their preference.
- Applicants will be allotted seats through CAP based on the score obtained in the entrance test and choices filled.
- The Seat Allotment Letter will be published online.
- Post allotment, applicants have to report at the reporting center either to freeze, float or slide their allotted seats.
- If satisfied with the allotment then students have to report at the allotted institute to complete the admission process and pay the remaining fees.
NOTE – Mahrashtra state candidates are selected based on MHT CET score only while All India candidates are selected based on JEE Main/ MHT CET score.
