IIT Kanpur has released GATE 2023 Syllabus PDF for all the 29 papers. No new changes have been made to GATE 2023 Syllabus PDF. Candidates can download branch-wise GATE Syllabus PDF for CS, EE, CE, CS, and other papers from the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in. Links for GATE 2023 Syllabus PDF download have also been provided in the article below.
IIT Kanpur is going to conduct GATE 2023 on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. The exam is held online as a 3 hour computer-based test. Each GATE Question Paper consists of 65 MCQs, NATs and/or MSQs carrying 1 or 2 marks each.

- General Aptitude (GA) is a common section in all GATE Syllabus and holds 15% weightage of the total marks.
- The questions in GA are based on verbal, numerical, quantitative ability and spatial aptitude.

- Engineering Mathematics holds 13% weightage in GATE Syllabus for papers with codes- AE, AG, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ES, IN, ME, MN, MT, NM, PE, PI and TF.
- However, for XE (Engineering Sciences paper), Engineering Mathematics holds 15% in the question paper.
