NTA has revised JEE Main 2023 registration fee. General/Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) male and female candidates need to pay INR 1000 and INR 800 respectively for a single paper. SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates are required to pay INR 500 as non-refundable JEE Main 2023 application form fee.

- On successful registration for JEE Main 2023, a confirmation page is generated. Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the same for future use.

Candidates should ensure they fulfill JEE Main 2023 Eligibility as ineligibility found at the further stage will lead to disqualification from the examination.
- Education Qualification- Candidates should have passed Class 12th in 2021, 202, or appeared in 2023.
- Age Limit- There no age limit to appear in JEE Main 2023.
- Number of attempts- JEE Main 2023 is conducted in two sessions. This year the exam is scheduled in January and April. Candidates are eligible to appear in both the exam sessions.
- Mandatory Subjects- For B.E/B.Tech- applicants should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects. For B.Arch- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For B.Planning- Mathematics.

Steps to fill JEE Main Application Form 2023 consists of the following steps- Registration, application form, Uploading documents and application fees payment The detailed steps are given below:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website of JEE Main- jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Register for the online application form and ensure that you note the system-generated application number.
- After providing the relevant details. Candidates will be required to creat6e a password and choose a security question and answer.
- On successful completion of personal details, Application Number will be generated.
Note: Application Number will be essential which will be application for both sessions of JEE Main 2023. Candidates will be able to log in further with the application number and password.
Step 2: Filling of Application Form
- Candidate can log in with the system-generated application number and password created to fill JEE Main Application Form 2023
- Details like personal details, paper, examination cities, Educational Qualification, and uploading the documents and images in the required specifications.
Note: Candidates should ensure that the photograph and signature uploaded is not blurred as this will lead to rejection of the application form. No form correction facility will be provided.
Step 3: Application Fees Payment
- On completion of step 1 and step 2, candidates will be required to pay the Application Fees for JEE Main 2023.
- Application Fees can be through any of the online modes of payment- Net Banking/Credit Card/ Debit Card/UPI or Paytm.
- Only on successful application fees payment, a confirmation page will be generated.

JEE Main Application Number and Password are essential for both the sessions of JEE Main 2023. Candidates will directly be able to log in with the system-generated application number and password.

JEE Main Registration Statistics
For JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam, around 8.6 lakh+ candidates registered for Paper 1. Out of these, women candidates accounted for more than 30% of the applicants for the first time in history. 0.46 lakh+ registered for Paper 2- 21000+ were female and 25000+ were male.
