GATE 2021 GG Question Paper with Answer Key is available for download. GATE 2021 GG was conducted by IIT. Bombay on 7th February 2021 in the forenoon session (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM). A total of 65 questions were listed by IIT Bombay, out of which 10 questions were related to General Aptitude, while remaining 55 questions related to core GG that were accountable for 64% of the total weightage.The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderately difficult.

IIT Bombay introduced MSQs (Multiple Select Questions) in GATE 2021 exam. However, there were no questions in GATE 2021 GG. All the questions were in the form of MCQs and NAT(Numerical Answer Types).

- 1 or 2 marks would be rewarded for every MCQ and NATs depending upon the carried marks
- ½ and ⅔ marks would be deducted for every wrong MCQ of 1 and 2 marks
- No marks would be reduced for wrong attempted NATs
- The cutoff for GG Geology goes to 38.90
