IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2022 is expected to start in the second week of June 2022 as per the previous year’s trend. IOCL is one of the largest government-owned oil companies under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2022 will be organized to recruit Engineers or Officers in various fields such as Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumental Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. So, candidates who clear GATE 2022 will be eligible to participate in IOCL 2022 Recruitment process on the basis of their GATE Result 2022.
GATE 2022 will be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 & 13, 2021. Only the candidates who qualify GATE Cutoff will be considered eligible for the further selection process. Based on GATE 2021 Cut Off, the complete list of shortlisted candidates for the required post will be released and for them, the GD/GT and PI rounds will be conducted. Payscale for IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2022
Candidates selected as Engineers/Officers will be receiving a monthly remuneration of INR 60000. DA and other allowances will be given to selected candidates by maintaining the rules of the Corporation in force.
- Other Allowances or Benefits will comprise HRA/Subsidized Housing Accommodation (depending upon the place of posting), medical facilities, performance-related pay, gratuity, contributory provident fund, employees’ pension scheme, group personal accident insurance scheme, leave encashment, LTC, contributory superannuation benefit fund scheme, conveyance advance, performance-related incentives, etc.
- The Cost to Company (CTC) will be around INR 17.00 lakhs per annum inclusive of Performance Related Pay.
- The Actual CTC will vary, depending on the place of posting, the financial performance of the Corporation, and also the individual performance of the employee.
How to Apply for IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2022?
To apply for IOCL through GATE 2022, the candidates need to follow the following procedure.
Stage 1: Online Registration for GATE examination
- Register through the online mode for GATE 2022 through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). Apply on or before the due date.
- GATE will be conducted through the online mode and will be held in the month of February.
Stage 2: Online Application in Indian Oil with GATE Registration No.
- Visit the official website of IOCL i.e. iocl.com
- Click on the CAREERS option and open the GATE link.
- Click on Apply Online and a screen will popup.
- Enter the required details like Discipline, GATE registration no. and DOB.
- Fill up the personal, qualification details, thereafter, upload the scanned copy of the recent photograph and signature.
- Click on the submit button, a unique ID will be generated.
- Save the ID for future references.
IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2022: Selection Process
IOCL Recruits candidates through GATE 2022 by the following selection procedure.
- Shortlisting procedure: The candidates will be shortlisted category-wise in descending order of their marks obtained in GATE 2022.
- Document Readiness: The candidates need to produce valid and relevant documents to be considered for the selection process.
- Merit List: The authorities will release the merit list based on the scores of GATE 2022, Group Discussion and Group Task, and Personal Interview.
