The M.Tech program at NIT Rourkela features a well-structured curriculum with a mix of core and elective courses. The faculty members are experienced and well-qualified. I selected this program for its Ph.D. or equivalent degrees and es academic reputation, industry connections, and research opportunities. NIT Rourkela maintains a favorable faculty-to-student ratio, ensuring individualized attention and guidance. The faculty holds mploys a practical, application-oriented teaching approach. Term exams are typically conducted on schedule, and pass difficulty varies by course, with ample support provided for success.
Because I'm interested in this course and I want to explore the subject. 24:145 is the ratio of faculty and student ratio. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable too. they help in every step whenever we need them.
I didn't pick this class because I was interested in it. It was all based on how I did in JEE Mains. There aren't too many students for every teacher, so you can handle your studies by asking questions and getting answers whenever you need them.
I chose this course because it was the best that Fitted to my rank and my interests. It is a very good course for anybody interested in Mathematics. This course will also help in building your basic knowledge of computational thinking. There are currently 19 faculty members to 250 students. The teaching methodology is quite outdated, and the course structure is yet to be updated. The curriculum and the evaluation are quite strict here, one has to dedicate time and effort to pass any subject in this course.
The whole curriculum is very well. Since electrical engineering is interesting I choose it. A total of 125 students are there in this. faculty are highly qualified most of them are passed out from IITs and they are flexible with us. There are 2 sems per year there is mid and end exams for a sem.
All my faculty members are very smart and each and every one of them has years of experience. All professors have Ph. D.s and published many articles on research the exams here are every 3 months the sem is 30 marks end sem is 50 and the TA is 20 marks.
The course curriculum is good but hectic. The electronics department of our college in well known for having for having the best professors in the nation. I choose the ECE branch because first of all I did not get a CSE branch in jee exams. And also the ECE branch is the second best branch of our college. Faculty to students ratio is good as class strength is almost 60. Most of the professors have a foreign or IIT PhD degree. Exams here are really difficult. We get approximately 1 month to prepare for midsems exams and 1.5 months for endsems. The exam questions are mostly PYQs . It is easier to get a good CG if you study with a good planning like studying 2 weeks before exams sincerely. The teachers here teach sincerely but some of them do not. If a student studies with planning like doing PYQs before exams and the assignment given by teacher he/she can easily pass the exam.
the curriculum is hard at NIT Rourkela mainly because of the 85 percent attendance policy and average professors. professors here are highly qualified but many of them don't know how to teach honestly. but student to faculty ratio is good I would say and for the exam part. exams are scary hee due to the fierce methods of penalising used by professors, but you will get used to it, if you start studying 2 weeks before the exam you can easily maintain an 8 pointer cgpa but if you think you can pass just one night of study then you will get disappointed.
The course curriculum is kind of medium level. I chose this course because this was the best I could get in JEE. The faculty are very nice and strict both. they are well qualified. there was a gap of 1 month for mid sem and then 1.5 months for end-sem
