Rajdhani College admissions 2023 to all UG and PG programs will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. UG admissions will be made through the CUET UG exam while candidates seeking PG admissions are required to appear for the CUET PG examination. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions is no longer accepted from the academic year 2023.

Once the CUET results are declared, the registration process for both UG and PG programs will begin on Delhi University’s admission portal- admission.uod.ac.in. Further, they will be asked to fill in their college and program preferences. Seat allocation for UG courses will be done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal. In contrast, PG final selection will be based on the merit list released by the institute for both merit and entrance-based admissions.

For PG admissions, half of the seats will be allocated to students holding their bachelor’s degree from Delhi University based on merit in their qualifying examinations. The remaining 50% of the total seats will be provided on the basis of the candidate’s rank in the CUET PG examination. Rajdhani College also has 50% reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category students.

Rajdhani College UG Admission 2023

Rajdhani college offers UG courses under 3 streams which are Science, Arts & Commerce. These curriculums are offered for a duration of 3 years and as full time regular mode. B.A, B.A (Hons.), B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.) courses are offered in UG courses. Rajdhani College UG Selection Process

Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Rajdhani College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:

  • Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
  • Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
  • Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Rajdhani College PG Admission 2023

Rajdhani College offers PG curriculum in 2 streams which are Humanities and Commerce. In these streams M.A and M.Com courses are offered with few specialisations. These courses are offered for 2 years as a full time course. The eligibility criteria includes graduation degree in relevant fields from a recognized university. Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

  • Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
  • ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

  • Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
  • After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

  • Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
  • Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
  • Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
  • Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
  • Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
