DU BTech is a full-time program offered for a duration of 4 years. BTech at Delhi University is offered in three specialisations, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. DU BTech Eligibility
To apply for the BTech program at Delhi University, the following are the eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must have passed Class XII or its equivalent from a single recognized board.
- Candidate must have secured 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and pass English as a study subject at the Senior School Certificate Examination level.
- For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the following aggregate marks are required to apply for Delhi University BTech Program:

DU BTech Admission Criteria
The All India Common Rank List (CRL) of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Paper-I, 2024, as well as the eligibility requirements, will be used to determine admission to the BTech programs at the University of Delhi (UoD) for the academic year 2024–2025.
Qualifying JEE Main exam will not be a sufficient condition to secure a seat in Delhi University BTech program. After qualifying JEE Main exam, the candidate must apply on the official portal of Delhi University to be admitted to the B.Tech Program. Application submitted through any other mode or portal/website will not be accepted under any circumstances.
DU BTech Application Process
To apply for Delhi University BTech Admission, the following steps must be followed:
- Visit the website: engineering.uod.ac.in
- Before registering, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully for all three B.Tech. programs.
- Click on the “New Registration” button provided on the top right side of the webpage.
- Now fill out the registration form by providing all the mandatory details, valid mobile no. and email, and setting a password of your choice.
- Click on the “ Register” button after filling out the registration form.
- Now log in using the JEE Application and Password set while registering.
- Fill out the Personal Section, and the Academic section carefully, the details entered must match with the particulars mentioned in the certificates/ documents of the candidate.
- Upload all the necessary documents.
- Preview the application form properly to check whether you have filled in all the details correctly.
- Candidate must then submit the form by paying the Registration-cum-allocation fee through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI.
- After this, candidates are required to submit their preferences. The submitted preference order will determine the allocation of seats. Before submitting, the candidate must ensure that the order of preferences is as per his/her choice.
- If a candidate does not “Submit” his/her preferences, the last saved preference order will be locked automatically upon reaching the deadline for the Preference-Filling.
