So, to enter into Delhi university we need to give CUET exam. I gave that too . Different courses have different eligibility criteria . Then you are asked to fillup the counselling session and make your prefrence sheets ranking different colleges of the university. The students with higher marks got there preffered colleges first. There are 3 counselling rounds and a spot round for the students who don't get seat in any of the rounds. North campus comes at good ranking then the south campus and then the off campus. The eligibility criteria for Bcom is very simple you have to opt for english , general test and any of two from accountancy, business studies , economics in the CUET exam and if you want to applu for Honours course and Maths become necessary. I also gave IPCET exam thats for IPU university which is a semi goverment university. I too got selected there but since DU was completely goverment I opted for that. Also I gave IPMAT exam but didn't got through as the exam din't went well and the cut off was too very high. Rest every private university will give you admission so if I didn't got into any of them private university was my backup option.
I applied for two more colleges in my hometown but they were not good as my maitreyi college. Basically we can say the main reasons for choosing this college are Academic programs, Research opportunities, campus life, Ranking etc. Overall everything was wonderful when comparing to the other two colleges I applied. I didn't applied any other college where I got rejection. As I already mentioned about the colleges I applied I got selected in both but didn't want to continue in them so choose maitreyi college. So basically admission process was so easy and mine was based on cut off. I secured good marks in my Senior Secondary class so i got admission easily. And after that we have to submit our documents online on official mail of college. After 10 days official process are completed and orientation and classes started. Now everything is change you have to clear CUET entrance exam and then you have to go for counselling and you got selected and all these. But I can surely say mine was so easy.
I applied for IP University and I got admission in Maharaja surajmal for bba and VIPs for eco hons but in spot round , I got cvs, du for bms. I chose this college becoz of the renowed name of University of delhi and professionalism of BMS course. No, I didn't got any rejected, I just applied for ipu and du, I got a seat in both of them For our college, we have to go for CUET test after which, there are various rounds to qualify for the admission and for ipu we have to give CET. I got admission in cvs for bms at 495 marks out of 650 in spot round 2. Admission process was not so much complex.
I have applied for SRCC, HANSRAJ, RAMJAS, GARGI, HINDU, LSR, DRC and etc. But I got DRC( Daulat Ram College) and I have no option I have not rejected from the, in first allotment round I got DRC and this is the girl's college so my parents didn't allow me to go for other rounds. For taking admission first you need to give CUET then according to your CUET score you will get college . CUET exam eligibility is 12 passed students. To get good college the cutoff will be 93-99 out of 100 based on CUET score. And the most important thing is you need to have patience because it has so long procedure . The form should be fill when you are in 12 class between January - February and you will get finally admission in last week of August.
I applied to GGSIP University and filled the entrance exam CUET. One can get admission in Delhi University by giving the CUET exam. After giving cuet, we have to apply on the CSAS portal that is of Delhi University. It then conducts various rounds of admission process and students are allotted colleges according to their preference sheets and marks scored in CUET exam. In IP University I got rank 382(out of 15000) for BBA where I was given admission according to my preference, in VIPS college. Though I kept Delhi University as my first choice. And since BMS is a professional course I decided to take up this college, SRCASW( NIRF ranking 32) Also I wanted to stay in Delhi so didn't sign up for colleges in other states. The best college for BMS is considered to be Shaheed Sukhdev college of business students. It has a very high cut off and thus remains a Dream for many students. It also offers a course BBA(FIA) that is also provided by SRCASW. But since it's a women's college, it's not available to everyone.
I applied to IPM of Indore, Rohtak, Ip university, Dtu for bba and du I got selected for eco hons at ipu and dtu bba at first, while I didn't get any seat till then in du rounds , I went to dtu bba till 2 weeks and the experience was good but then I got selected in CVS is spot round 2 in du, although this new college was far from my home the name of du made the difference and the course BMS is also sought after which made me submit withdrawal in dtu, in preferences I wrote Srcc and Shaheed Sukhdev, Sri Guru Gobind Singh above in preference list and this course must be at 15 th place To get admission in this college you have to give cuet exam and register your score in csas portal of du , to get into BMS , you have to give exams of english, maths, general test.
1-I applied for bcom hons and bcom courses in DU. I ranked them in accordance with their faculty of professors ,placement, and exposure with other peer students taking admission 2- i got my first college ARSD(aatma ram sanatan dharm college) but i had chosen my college DCAC due to its better faculty and i still feel our college has good professor compared to other south campus colleges 3- I did't got rejected from any college rather i chose a better faculty over campus size and NIRF rankings in 2022 arsd was placed at no 7 in NIRF and i had good marks so i thought i might get even better college than this one 4- our college comes under delhi university and procedure for DU colleges are entrance examination of CUET and out of which we recieve marks out of 800 total marks and then we can apply for different universities all around india under which delhi university is affiliated
I had kept Hindu, hansraj and Kirori Mal above Venky in my cuet preference in discipline of Mathematics. And I got Venky in First Round. But I had accepted this preference and not applied for Up gradation. However if I had upgraded I must have got some college of North Campus But I didn't. The reason for this lies in the aura of this college. As I have researched and found that it is best college of South Campus and has a great faculty of Mathematics. Also the location of college is in prime location which makes travelling easy. Also I have heard lot about of societies in this college. These are reason for choosing this college. I have a good cuet score may be I can got a college of North. Only reason for keeping other colleges above Venky is that all other are North Campus Colleges, you can call it a obsession with North campus. The Admission procedure for our college is just same like that all other colleges that is on the basis of cuet score. You have to score around 600 to get into merit list ( figures may vary for reserved categories) . The most preferred course of our college is Bsc, and Boom. Overall the admission process is good and quite supportive. They help students in all way they can during admission and even during verification.

Getting admission to DU is a big deal. You should not feel apathetic and discouraged even if you do not get a top-ranked college. Every college of DU has an equal value when you get the degree. The faculties are cooperative and supportive. They are always ready to help the students.
The only major differences are the infrastructure and the surrounding. Simplicity and Uniformity are observed in everyone studying or teaching at DU. Being one among the 2.5k applicants to be accepted into a DU college is something to be proud of. Be content with what you currently have, explore opportunities, and ask your seniors for assistance if necessary.
"Getting into a good college" is an exaggerated and superficial concept and sincere courtesy goes to the media. Every DU college follows the same teaching standards.
It is a fact that everything happens for a reason. On Facebook, there was a post titled "Humans of SRCC" in which a few students expressed their thoughts and issues they had encountered at the college. They claim that they do not fit in at SRCC's fast-paced environment and that they feel isolated at times.
So, rather than regretting or overthinking what fate has in store for them, one should always accept it with grace and satisfaction.
The minimum requirement for admission to UG programmes at Delhi University is the completion of the 12th grade with a grade point average of 75% or better on the top four exam papers, including 85% in English for general applicants.
A general applicant needs at least 60% in four courses, including mathematics, whereas OBC candidates need only 54% and SC/ST candidates need passing grades.
However, the eligibility criteria and cutoffs for each course differ.
Depending on the course and the number of applications, each college at DU has its cut-off. This cut-off is also different for each student category. SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates generally have lower cut-offs than general category students. There is also an option for students who excel in sports and extracurricular activities to get a break from the cut-off.
The first step is to complete the Admission form, which is available both online and offline on the official website. The dates for the cut-offs will also be announced on the same website. You can see if you pass the cutoff based on your score on the board. Most colleges accept the best of four scores with English as a mandatory subject, and subjects such as Physical Education are not considered. If you see that you meet the cut-off for a specific college, it is a good idea to check the college's website to see if they have any additional eligibility criteria. If you meet all of the requirements, you must report to the college within the next two days. The college may have its form that you must fill out and submit along with a few documents for verification.
The documents would have to include-
Mark Sheets for Grades 10 and 12 (Get them attested by your school principal or a gazetted officer)
School character certificate
Birth certificate
SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate if you fall into any of the categories
Certificates of proof for your ECA and sports if you want to take advantage of the cut-off relaxation.
After the verification is finished, you must pay the fees and receive a receipt confirming your admission.
Delhi University began accepting applications for phase II of the DU UG admission 2022. The dates for the DU First Admission List 2022 will be released. In conjunction with the launch of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal, the university made the DU 2022 application form available for DU 2022 admission in UG programmes.
Candidates who have taken the CUET exam can submit their DU application form for admission to DU in 2022. By visiting the Delhi University website, applicants could complete and submit the DU NCWEB application form 2022. For DU 2022 admission through the DU CSAS, there will be three steps:
Submitting the DU CSAS 2022 application form.
Choosing your programmes and entering your preferences.
DU seat allocation and admission.
The second stage of the CSAS procedure for DU admission 2022 will require CUET scores after the CUET results have been released. Selecting the programmes for which they want to apply for admission is a requirement for students. They will need to verify the CUET UG merit results for every programme they have chosen. The third phase will then release a merit list on which seats will be distributed.
15% of the weight for the marks will be set by the institutions, and 85% of the weight for the CUET 2022 results will be given to applicants for admission to Delhi University minority colleges. Delhi University colleges will be electronically centrally counseled in three rounds following the CUET entrance exam.
Nearly 70,000 UG seats will be filled through the DU 2022 admissions process. Delhi University recently declared that a tie-breaking criterion will be utilized for DU admission in the situation where two or more students receive the same scores.
There are two main ways to get admission to the Delhi School of Economics (232 seats): direct admission (50%) and entrance test (50%): -
Direct Admission (116 seats) - Any applicant who has previously completed a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Delhi with a minimum of 60% marks is eligible to apply in this category. Admissions under this category, on the other hand, are given to those who have had a very good academic record during their graduation. This admissions category is similar to the undergraduate cutoff system.
Entrance Test (116 seats) - Anyone with a 60% average in graduation/postgraduate studies (any subject from any recognised university) is eligible to take the entrance test.
Yes, you can still apply for college admission. All you need to do is bring all necessary documents, but keep in mind that you will be marked as a Defaulter (a Defaulter student fails to appear in the previous cut-off when he was meeting the requirements).
According to University Regulations, a defaulter can only take admission on the third day of that particular cut-off.
You should go to the college where you want to enroll on the first day and follow the admissions procedure. You are suggested not to tell any teacher about the same because teachers sometimes forget to check if students are defaulters or not. If anyone gets to know, then you will have to come back again on the third day of admission.
The character certificate is issued by the most recent institute you attended, in this case, your school. You should visit your school and request the administration a character certificate for yourself.
The school is responsible for making sure that you get your character certificate. It would be suggestive that you collect all the original documents from the school along with the character certificate.
To begin, one must mentally prepare to continue reading newspapers every day and attempting to comprehend editorial opinions and social issues. It would be beneficial to read some philosophy books based on your own understanding, thereby increasing your ability to think about society in terms of how well-educated people perceive women, girls, and people's difficulties. A good understanding of General Studies and your 12th-class texts from the Arts field is required.
The entrance exam is not based on math, reasoning, or English; rather, it is based on your social background, as well as your opinion and mindset. This entrance has only 20 or 30 seats. So be cautious, and good planning will ensure your success.
Here are some of the things that you need to know about taking admission at DU.
You will need the following documents at the time of admissions.
Remember to carry four photocopies of the above-mentioned certificates and don't worry, even if you forget any certificate, you can submit it within 10 days.
Admission to the PG program at DU is based on 2 modes:
DU M.Com Eligibility Criteria
